Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we hold it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Last updated: 25 May 2026. This policy describes how Magnivo Roof Solutions Sdn. Bhd., registered in Malaysia under SSM Reg. No. 202301045678 (1518227-D), handles personal data collected through this website and our customer engagement processes. It is written to comply with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and adapted from the structure of the Department’s 2024 guidance.
1. Who we are
We are Magnivo Roof Solutions Sdn. Bhd., a roofing contractor headquartered at Level 12, Wisma Selangor Dredging, 142-C Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. You can reach us about anything in this policy by email at [email protected] or by phone on +60 3 2856 9420.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry, complete a job, or comply with Malaysian law:
- Identification: name, contact phone, email address
- Site details: address of the property and any descriptive notes you share about the roof
- Project documentation: photographs, quotations, invoices and warranty records related to work performed
- Browser data: anonymised analytics on which pages of this site were visited, in aggregate (we do not use third-party advertising trackers)
3. Why we collect it
Your information is used to schedule and deliver the work you commissioned, to keep proper records as required by Malaysian commercial law, and to keep you informed about the progress of an active project. We do not sell, lease or otherwise share customer data with marketing companies.
4. How long we keep it
Project records are kept for seven years after the final invoice, in line with Malaysian record-keeping requirements. Phone enquiries that did not result in a project are deleted after twelve months. You can ask us to delete any data sooner — see section 7.
5. Who we share it with
The only third parties who routinely see your information are:
- Material suppliers we order on your behalf (so deliveries can reach the site)
- Our appointed accountant, for tax and audit purposes
- Insurance assessors, only where you have asked us to support an insurance claim
Where information is shared, it is shared under written confidentiality terms and only the minimum required for the specific purpose.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site sets a single first-party cookie to remember your cookie consent choice, plus a privacy-respecting analytics cookie if you accept analytics in the consent banner. Reject the banner and only the consent cookie is set. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights under the PDPA
You are entitled, at no cost, to:
- Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Withdraw consent for future use of your information
- Request deletion of records (subject to lawful retention obligations)
Email any such request to [email protected] and we will respond within 21 working days.
8. Security
Customer records are held on access-controlled systems, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Physical records, where they exist, are kept in locked storage at our Kuala Lumpur office.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. For material changes, customers with active projects will be notified by email.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your information, raise it with us first by writing to the email above. If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate the complaint to the Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi at the Ministry of Communications.
